Consultant Physician - Stroke
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Stroke Medicine at East Sussex Healthcare Trust (ESHT). We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed colleague who has the passion to develop and deliver Stroke services.

In 2013 East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust single sited hyper acute and acute stroke services to Eastbourne District General Hospital (EDGH). Inpatient rehabilitation is based at Bexhill Irvine Unit. The stroke pathway is supported by two Community Stroke Rehabilitation Teams which also deliver Early Supported Discharge (ESD). TIA clinics are currently held at Eastbourne District General Hospital and Conquest Hospital, Hastings. Telemedicine is available to support thrombolysis on call.

The appointee will be based at the District General Hospital, Eastbourne.

The successful applicant will be an accredited physician with background in the field of Stroke Medicine. Applicants must have full GMC registration and be within 6 months of gaining CCT at time of interview or on the Specialist Register.
