We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our team on a part time basis. The role will be undertaking failsafe duties and administration support to the team. The successful candidate must have the ability to prioritise their workload and work to targets and timelines, along with the ability to undertake repetitive tasks requiring good levels of concentration.
Good communication skills are required as the role involves liaising with local GPs and patients on a regular basis.
The applicant should be competent in the use of Excel and Word as there will be a requirement to use these on a regular basis.
Knowledge of diabetic retinopathy screening would be advantageous but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to complete competencies in Diabetic Retinopathy Screening (Administration).
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
