Are you an experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Physiotherapist looking to enhance and develop your knowledge and career in musculoskeletal care? We are in an exciting period of service development having recently won the contract to deliver integrated musculoskeletal services in the Hastings and Rother localities, we have also expanded our work as part of the Sussex MSK partnership, to deliver an integrated service in the High Wealds, Eastbourne and Hailsham areas. East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust now delivers a musculoskeletal physiotherapy service within 10 outpatient settings across East Sussex. Following recent service review, delivery of care pathways now operates on an East, Central and West locality rotation.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapists to recruit into permanent band 6 roles across our departments. As part of a varied Band 6 MSK rotation, working with clients aged 4 and above, you will have the opportunity to develop assessment and treatment skills in hydrotherapy, hand therapy, rheumatology, back care and shoulder clinics, and to align your development to our UL, LL, Spinal and Rheumatology pathways. You will be required to clinically supervise band 5 physiotherapists, assistants and students. The trust actively encourages personal development. We can offer you teaching, supervision and supported development with our specialist 7’s, consultant physiotherapist and our established team of advanced practitioners ( AP’s), as you work through your clinical competencies and objectives. Our highly innovative teams deliver high quality, patient focused care. They work with regional partners such as the University of Brighton and national partners such as MACP and NICE as they sit on committees and networks within MSK care, research and rheumatology. The team will give you exposure to latest and emerging evidence based care as they undertake audit and research, and our consultant physiotherapist is a NICE fellow. Our links with Brighton University and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex leadership network gives opportunities for postgraduate learning both internally and externally. A valid driving license and access to a car for work purposes would be beneficial.
