Highly specialised musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. – Band 7

We are in an exciting time of development for East Sussex Healthcare MSK services. Having established AP posts and developed our MSK care pathways, we are now looking to recruit more band 7 physiotherapists to join our clinical team.

If you are an experienced, innovative band 6 or 7 musculoskeletal physiotherapist looking for the next step in your clinical career, we would like to hear from you.  We would also welcome applications from Band 6 physiotherapists looking to develop their band 7 skills and competencies through an annexe-u developer contract.

Successful candidates would demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment and treatment, in conjunction with leadership skills to support our AP’s, team leads and consultant physiotherapist, on the delivery of MSK care pathways.

There is opportunity to develop skills in sub specialities that align to our MSK care pathways such as; upper limb, lower limb, rheumatology, and spinal. Successful candidates may have already aligned their practice in an area or should demonstrate motivation to do so.

Innovation is key to the development of our services. You will be fundamental in the clinical development of others and the service, and as such will be expected to take the development opportunities we can offer you.   We have close links with the University of Brighton and post graduate education is actively encouraged.

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust currently delivers a musculoskeletal physiotherapy service within 10 outpatient settings across East Sussex. We are currently reviewing how we deliver expertise and pathways of care within the East and the West of the service.  This will ensure equality of access for patients, and to ensure all staff access development opportunities. This post involves close working with our AP’s, clinical band 7’s and musculoskeletal team leaders to deliver quality and innovation in clinical practice. This will require cross site working so ability to travel will be preferable.
