An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in our Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) team based at Firwood House in Eastbourne.

The service aims to prevent unnecessary admissions to hospitals or long-term care, enable earlier discharges from hospital and promote independence and quality of life.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive, professional integrated team. CPD is supported and supervision and training are integral to the working practices of the team

The post holder will be required to work flexibly and visit people in their own homes and carry out joint assessments in the acute and intermediate care and Hospice in-patient settings where appropriate. The ability to travel around the county in a timely fashion is essential.
