Our Endoscopy Unit at the Conquest Hospital is presently open between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs Monday to Saturday, with evening and weekend cover under review to address the service needs and is expected to take effect soon.
East Sussex Healthcare Trust perform a variety of standard and advanced endoscopic procedures for both out-patients and in-patients including Gastroscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, PEG insertion, Oesophageal Stenting and ERCP.
We are working to renew our JAG accreditation and we are a Bowel Cancer Screening Centre . We have been recently refurbished to maintain national standards.
We are looking for experienced endoscopy nurses with excellent communication skills who are keen to develop their leadership skills.
Our aim is to provide the very highest standards of care to patients and relatives ensuring privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
You would be expected to participate in formal and informal teaching and mentoring of all staff to ensure evidence based nursing care is delivered locally and across the organization.
The unit is open Mondays to Saturdays 0800-1800 hours and we are planning to provide a 7 day service soon.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
