The paediatric department is looking to expand our management offer to support the continued development of our short stay paediatric assessment unit, our outpatient department and our A and E paediatric nurses. The role is both clinical and managerial

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Ward Matron or an experienced Sister/ Charge Nurse looking to progress their career and work with us to continue to develop our services.

You will provide strong leadership, possess excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and be able to develop and support staff with your clinical and professional expertise. You will be expected to have budgetary knowledge and a wider understanding of strategic vision for paediatrics nationally and locally

You will have advanced clinical knowledge and skills, and will be expected to work with autonomy and minimal supervision. In return you will be offered excellent managerial support and commitment to both your personal and professional development and career.
