Are you an experienced Band 6 or 7, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist looking to enhance and develop your knowledge and career in musculoskeletal care? If so come and join our team as we shape MSK services in East Sussex. We can offer you the support and learning you need to grow and achieve your goals. We are in an exciting period of service development having recently won the contract to deliver integrated musculoskeletal services in the Hastings and Rother localities, we are also expanding our work as part of the Sussex MSK partnership, to deliver an integrated service in the High Wealds, Eastbourne and Hailsham areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated physiotherapist to recruit into a permanent Band 7 Team Lead role covering our Uckfield, Amberstone and Crowborough departments. You would demonstrate advanced skills in assessment and treatment whilst using clinical leadership to support the teams to deliver outstanding patient care. We work with MSK clients aged 4 and above, and there is opportunity to develop clinical specialist skills in our MSK care pathways including; • upper limb and hand therapy • lower limb • rheumatology • spinal
The Trust actively encourages personal development, and you will be supported by working closely with our advanced practitioners (AP’s), with access to our consultant physiotherapist and orthopaedic/ rheumatology consultant colleagues, as part of our integrated musculoskeletal service. We also work in partnership with other services to deliver care in East Sussex, including the Sussex MSK partnership network. Our innovative team deliver high quality, patient focused care. They work with regional partners such as the University of Brighton, national partners such as MACP and NICE (our Consultant Physiotherapist is a NICE fellow), as they sit on committees and networks within MSK care, research and rheumatology. The team will give you exposure to the latest and emerging evidence based care, as they undertake audit and research, which you will be encouraged to support. Our links with Brighton University and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex leadership network gives further opportunities for postgraduate learning both internally and externally. East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust delivers a musculoskeletal physiotherapy service across 10 localities, incorporating an East, Central and West division. This post will involve close working with teams within a division, and this may require travel within your working day and cross site working therefore, a valid driving license and access to a car for work purposes would be beneficial.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
